Just wondering if anyone has a spare or a source for a power supply for
an AT&T 9-track tape drive. I've run the steps from the hardware
manual and it keeps coming back to "replace power supply"

I know this is a long shot, but it never hurts to ask.

Thanks,

Bob, are you handy with a soldering iron? I highly recommend replacing
all the capacitors including small tantalums that you might find. Be
careful working around caps with a charge, be sure you discharge them
(if they are good) before doing anything silly like sticking them to
your tongue. ;-) I just had to replace a few tantalums on my gear.

I suppose I can give that a go - it is not as if I am going to break
the power supply at this point. Have not swapped caps on AT&T
equipment since fixing a batch of 7300 monitors (many) years ago.

Be happy if I can get past "logic off" indicator light. My AT&T
connection in town tells me several years ago they discarded tons of 3B
equipment- shame I missed that.

Thanks for the advice.
