Has anyone else had a problem with zWeather: For me, it stopped working
when the US caught up with the rest of the world in location names.

I was 43560, which is a zip code, and that worked until it became
USOH0935, which is the same in country-state-location number format. Now,
neither works, and I did clear the cache.

What am I doing wrong. I have the latest program versions, and in doing
that found that I already had the latest versions. zView, which shares
files, is it's usual wonderful self.

Help, please.

Jim

Hi Jim - - - I can't help you with the problem but I can at least tell
you that I am experiencing the same thing. zWaether isn't working for
me either. Hopefully someone will be able to come up with a solution.

I think zWeather works by downloading an XML-file from the weather-site
and then parse it. If the format of the XML changes, zWeather will stop
working. You could download zWeather's source code and add some
debugging statements to see where it fails.

Yes, I could, but not right now, or any time soon. I am in the process of
complicating my life, any my instant problem is packing stuff to make room
for more feet. But first, there is no longer a list of correspondence
where I could look up what versions of compilers actually work. I have
EasyMint 1.52 files. What should I have?

Talking to myself again. Top posting too. Google Weather Underground, or
wunderground, and they have a XML feed based on zip code. Should I ever
find time to work on this, it seems a better source. And, you can see what
is there. CAB works for this.
