Teradesk in Single TOS

system on the Install aplication in menu the file desktop.prg in
Teradesk directory I choose Install application and AUTO in boot
status. Nextly I save desktop and changed newdesk.inf into
teradesk.inf (because this file I have in Xboot before start the
computer. But I dont know why after restar this option is not save.
and again launch computer, teradesk is not loaded again check and only
NORMAL in boot status. Does anybody know why ?
Maybe it is another way to install teradesk in SIngleTOS. I have try
it with CT60 and F030 mode ?

That is wrong. Newdesk.inf is different from Teradesk.inf
Via newdesk.inf the ROM TOS starts Teradesk.
Teradesk saves its config in its own Teradesk.inf
So you must keep both.

Because TOS still needs newdesk.inf to know it must load
Teradesk.

No special mode needed.
I use Teradesk this way on my 520ST with TOS 1.4

I changed this name from newdesk.inf to teradesk.inf only for Xboot,
because there are a few setup before start the system. This is not a
teradesk.inf from Teradesk directory.

The problem is because I dont know why in newdesk.inf after the run
cumputer i SingleTos teradesk is not start. In newdesk.inf is path to
teradest (exactly desktop.prg) but not saved AUTO status in TOS Install
aplication still is only Normal in boot status

Check that XBoot is actually using teradesk.inf in the selected set. And
try without XBoot:
- Boot into TOS.
- Disable XBoot.
- Set desktos.prg to autostart and save settings.
- Reboot.
What happens?

OK, I have done Disable Xboot and only loaded clean TOS when
desktop.prg was install in boot status as AUTO and now work fine, but
when back to start with active xboot is bad again. And I dont know why
i dont work with XBOOT maybe I have bad version of Xboot ?
Do you know why withot xboot is OK?

I woudl like come beack to teradesk, but not only in Single TOS but
under MiNT too. Is it posibility to use with this desktop background for
example picture in IMG format or similary ?. In single TOS I tried with
DESKPIC or PICDESK, but it did not work.

It's OK without XBoot because the built-in desktop is doing what it's
supposed to do. XBoot is not copying teradesk.inf to newdesk.inf. Why I
don't know.

I think this should work, but it requires a special setting in Teradesk
(a certain background colour or pattern I think). Check the manual.
