I dug out a ST 520 that I did not know I had the other week and saw that
it was modified. The give away was a toggle switch on the left side of
the system. I was thinking that it maybe had a TOS Selector in it so I
opened it up and saw that it had a RAM Board, some kind of CPU plug in
to the RAM board and wires running from each TOS chip to the toggle
switch. I have no idea what the mods are except obviously the RAM
Board. I can get the unit fired up and working with the toggle switch
one way but pushed the other way I get a couple of BOMBS. I guess the
switch is for Standard and Modified Modes. When it boots it comes up
with 512K RAM and TOS 1.4 Rainbow TOS.

Here are some pictures of the system.

Does anybody know besides the extra RAM what the CPU socket and wires to
the TOS chips are for?

Thanks
