Just wondering... Bravo and Sierra are phonetics for B and S.

Why would anyone buy from BS Computers? Sure, it's Ben's initials, but
in the minds of most English speakers, it's an acronym for something
significantly less pleasant.

I've bought from them - no problems at all. Many times, they had items or
software that I couldn't find anywhere else. Ben does over-post a bit, but
its not that big a deal for me - its what filters or the delete button are
for. :)

All's I know is that nothin' lasts forever and we are damn sure gonna
miss this guy when he folds his tent. Atarians are damn lucky to have
somone as determined as he to keep the Atari name alive.

I have bought things from Ben and things went fine. Hey, he may throw
out a lot of ads, but at leas he is there just in case you need
something. Not too many Atari dealers around so let's savor the ones
we have.

I have this game for my Atari 400 computer and loved playing. Now
I use my XE, but this game does not play function well. When you
try and read a scroll, it does not stay on long enough to read.
I hear there is a XE version of the game, but for years I have
not been able to find it. Anyone know where I can get a copy?

If it was an older game for the 400/800 maybe you need to pre-load the
Translator disk. I'm pretty sure you can get these from Bravo Sierra
or B&C...

Cool!

I myself have an Apple IIe, a Commodore 64, a Commodore Amiga 500, an
Atari 800XL and a 486DX-3 75Mhz running DOS 6.22 that I am keeping
alive and feeding well, but I would LOVE to get an Atari ST rig but
everyone who had a decent one seems to be holding on to 'em...

Ali Baba. I looked in my archives. I have it in .ATR form, and the
one from Holmes says it is
OSB (needs translator, or emulator). (You changed the title of a Ben
Smith thread, which will
get less notice than if you started your own thread, and I missed it
in Google groups, sorry Ed.)
I couldn't find an XL/XE version. If you're using a real Atari, you
could load the Translator B disk first.
I would guess it hasn't been modified to XL/XE OS.

http://www.page6.org/pd_lib/utilities/pd_translator.htm

You'd need a way to get the .ATR over to your XE, like an APE cable.

Or, buy a disk from one of the vendors, Ben Smith, Video 61, B&C, Best
to name a few.

I have the Translator Disk and I do not believe that worked. However, I
will give it a try and see.

You can get a ST System from B&C, Best Electronics and some others...

I have the Translator Disk and I do believe I tried it and it did not
work from what I remember, but I will give it another go and see.
