Flight Simulator II can not boot the disk in XF551 due to the 300rpm
rotation rate incompatiblity issue. However it can boot in AtariMax's APE
image, more than 300rpm. I still do not understand.
Any help to explain ?

Steve most likely wrote in a work around to the problem in the APE
software.
