As calculated, it's about 1.4fps. See elsewhere in this thread for
calculations, and optimizations.

FYI, for the demo it was at native 1440x900.

That would make the GUI elements (buttons, text, icons) show up somewhat
more comprehensibly, but text wouldn't be readable unless you shrank the
display down insanely. It's irrelevant for the Second Life demo, anyway,
since the whole experience scales.

Already discussed. A more elaborate protocol would allow the server to say
"this frame hasn't changed much, let me just send alternate scan lines"
