Dear All,
In order to beta-test Brutal Deluxe Software's latest IIgs software,
we would like to work with some volunteers.

In order to apply, you should have a networked (AppleShare, AppleTalk
and other means) Apple IIgs linked to a Macintosh or other machine.

The IIgs machine, either a ROM 01, 03 or 04 should use System 6.0.1.
The host machine should be based on Mac OS (System 6, 7, 8 or 9) or
Mac OSX.

What is requested? A check of the folders and files preservation from
the source (IIgs) to the host machine (a Mac or compatible machine). A
more complete beta-test sheet will be provided to you.

You may apply until the 15th of May, 2011 and your requests to join
must be sent to in...@brutaldeluxe.fr. Please provide me with your
networked environment.

I thank you for your help,

Antoine Vignau & Olivier Zardini

For those of us using Google Groups, the e-mail address is being masked (probably need a regular Usenet newsreader to see the address).
I hope Antoine accepts the requests sent with Google's "Reply To Author".

from google groups, click on MORE OPTIONS (blue text)... this will
expand the header on the message.

then click the blue periods that are masking the full email address

you will be asked to type in anti-spam-bot twisted text. type it in
correctly and
click OK

click on MORE OPTIONS again (blue text) this will expand the header
again.

the email address will be revealed.

Ah, now I remember needing to do something like that back then. I just couldn't find the option in the new Google Groups format -- good thing they still allow users to switch back to the old format to see these additional options. Thanks.

The old format also has the added bonuses of properly wrapping your text and
setting the References header line.

I accept everything, especially if connected to a network :-)

First of all, thanks to those who already responded positively to my
request.

I should precise (because I think I understand now) that I am
interested in having users of appletalk, appleshare, netatalk, file
sharing with localtalk or ethernet cabling.

All means that allow users to transfer files from the IIgs to a remote
machine using the standard GS/OS file system translators capabilities.

I am on a business trip in Germany and return in Friday.

Thank you again,
Antoine
