Gee, now the sale of an Apple I rates a mention on WBBR, a
business radio station that broadcasts in New York City and can be
heard via the I'net. It's being sold by Sotheby's, a well known
auction house and it's expected to bring between $120,000 and
$180,000.

This Lisa 2 computer is in cosmetically great shape for its age. It does not work however. There is some battery corrosion on the motherboard. Comes with Lisa keyboard and a circa 1984 M0100 mouse. The boards that are in it are two memory boards, an I/O board (parallel I think) and the CPU board. The floppy disk will not eject. I have sort of an Apple shrine in my basement, but need to make some room.... more »

This has a 5 MB Winchester Hard drive, 1980, capability to back up(mirror) to VHS. It powers on, i have no way to test it further. Not sure but think it could be used with Apple II, TRS-80 was sold to Educator's, schools this is rare. Back in the mid 1980's I bought this clone of the Apple II. It has a Mitac disk drive, printer interface card, add-on joystick adapter, and a few thousand pages of printed information. The papers include the Apple reference manual (huge!) photocopy, Apple DOS manual photocopy, the 895 page Apple Thesaurus, the 1984 Book of Apple Software, and a very thick binder with photocopies of Core and Hardcore Computist magazine article. And I have some more technical books in storage boxes I haven't reopened yet. Unfortunately all the floppy disks are long gone.... more »

Hi Apple nerds! Yes, the crazy rare Apple III - arguably Apple's biggest failure ever!
This booted about a year ago - I haven't tried it since then and can't guarantee anything, but it is a magnificent addition - if not the centerpiece - to any pile of obscure computing stuff nonetheless.... more »
