Still looking for a ZRAM Ultra II or III, if anyone has one to sell.
Protip - I can't afford eBay prices like this:

I'd prefer to buy from you - I don't have anything interesting to offer
in trade, and I dislike trying to negotiate items to swap.

I have a working ZRam Ultra, not sure what model. It is in a IIc, and the IIc CPU will be included in the sale, because I do not want to have to remove the ZRAM card with its 80-pin insertion. I will offer it within a month on Ebay. Stephen Buggie, Gallup NM

I fried my ZRam Ultra II. The Ram still works, but the clock no longer keeps time. The clock worked even after I removed the battery as the battery was dead. I then tried a 14 Mhz 65C02 that I had just purchased. Now the clock displays random numbers and won't take a setting.

Bummer

Even a "dead" battery may still produce sufficient voltage to keep
inconsistent states from developing.

You'll need to reset the clock chip, which may take a bit of research to
determine exactly how it works.

With no battery on the card, I was still able to set the clock, read the time, and the time was accurate as long as I had power to the computer. When I shut down the computer, the time was lost.

Each day the clock chip was reset when I gave it the new time. The clock worked for about a month this way up until I tried the new 65c02 chip. So I am pretty sure I did some permanent damage to the clock chip.
