I won an auction on e-Bay for a Commodore 1581 disk drive back on 6/16/03. I
paid instantly using PayPal and e-mailed Bill with my shipping info.

As of today I have yet to receive my drive but I have received plenty of
excuses why he has not shipped it.

It would appear from his feedback as of late that I'm not the only one
having problems with him.

This is not a flame, just a heads up for you who are bidding on any of his
Commodore items on e-Bay, you might want to reconsider.

I've purchased from Centsible on multiple occasions in the past, also
from E-Bay auctions. Never had a problem. They've always been fast
and the item has always been correct (which is more than I can say for
some). I'm sorry you've been having problems, but wanted to give my
input as well.

For what it's worth, I ordered some software on June 4th and have
still not received it. Centsible did respond to a recent query and
noted that he was checking through a lot of stuff trying to locate
where the software was. The implication I have is that his stock is
scattered from here to creation and he doesn't really know where
anything is. At this point, I would agree with Dan and advise buyers
to understand that there will likely be a delay (maybe a lengthy one)
before any order is filled. I also have previously purchased from
Centsible and don't recall any buyer's remorse. George

Yeah, I think they're not quite as organized as they'd/we'd like.
I ordered a C64 game from them. They charged my credit card, then
sent me an email saying they could not find the game, and gave me
a refund.

That all happened quickly, and my only complaint is that through
currency conversion (I don't live in the U.S.) by charging, then
refunding me, I lost a bit of change in the process. I'm
certainly not crying over it, but out of principle, I didn't
like how their inventory issues resulted in my giving my credit
card company a few cents, leaving me nothing to show for it.

I would still order from them again, but I'd probably ask for
confirmation of an item's availability before using their check
out system.

Cheers,
Ken

Centsible once sold me used games as new. When pointed out, they just
blew me off with false accusations, privately and publically. I'll
never do business with them.

From my understanding they are not supposed to charge your credit card
untill they are ready to ship the item.

Also Centsible had changed ownership a few months back, so your not buying
from the same people (think its just 1 guy now) that you used to buy from. I
bet the old owner knew where everything was and the new guy doesnt.
