Ok here is what I have an amiga 500, a bunch of software that uses
workbench (but dosn't seem to have a complete version??), Blitz Basic
2, a null modem cable, a disk called Amiga, Utilities, MSDos, Amiga to
IBM Copyright 96 by Noom Inc. (when I run it, it gives me a message
like MS0: is now a pc disk drive or something and a command prompt), a
disk called modem utilities (when I run it, I get a menu where it says
The C.C.Cracking Crew Modem Disk V3.2, it has various utilities such as
TrueCopy 1.2 and others), a ms-dos DS disk, a second external floppy
drive and a C64. I want to start by copying over workbench 1.3. I found
a basic program that was meant to do it but when I ran it, it just
comes up with errors (Blitz Basic I guess not Amiga, I don't have a
clue about Blitz Basic, but people say it is MORE powerful so maybe I
can adapt the program). I really need help I know people say you need
workbench physically but I doubt other people with this problem have so
many other disks with things that look like they can help.

I guess if you guys can't help me I will ring this guy in the paper
asking for old amiga stuff and see if he has a workbench and basic disk
I could borrow.

Please Help me,
Ben Pazolli

If your goal is to run games/demos etc, then Workbench is not needed.
Workbench is needed if you want a "GUI" and run applications in it.
