Is there a program/method for doing this, if so, what/how?

I don't remember the exact command line now, been many years since I
last did it, but diskmasher (DMS) should be able to do it.
This web page might be useful:

Think it was something like dsm read (and then the name of the ADF).
I don't know, what hardware you have available.
My suggestion:
1. tracktool read <filename.adf> dfx:
2. repeat step 1 as long as you have more disks to backup.
3. burn all adfs onto CD (you can pack them with your favourite prog.
before, e.g. lha or zip)
If you have no CD-RW drive on Amiga, transfer over LAN to another
machine and burn it there.
If you have a plain A500 install a boot disk with MSH (messy file
system) , use dms or xdms and write it to a MSDOS formatted (720 k)
disk: copy <filename.dms> pc0:
You can read this disk from PC then.
If you have Catweasel (www.ami.ga) for PC you can read your Amiga disks
directly.
Heavy protected disks can not be read with tracktool or dms. Try to find
an other version of the game that has been converted to AmigaDos format
(e.g. a cracked version).
Else you have to make a real disk backup of those disks e.g. with
X-Copy.

Replys should be sent to the newsgroup. So others can read them too. :-)
