and if you looked behind the scenes of that demo 20 years ago you would
have seen a number of Amiga users both watching the demo and contributing
to the SPIRES database that was used in the demo (because SLAC had a
serious group of Amiga users/developers):

I was browsing the internet on an Amiga about 15 years ago so I don't know
what you're on about.

IIRC the Amiga was one of the first platforms to have a browser with AMOSAIC
was it? Anyway, I used to use Voyager, Aweb and IBrowse at different points
in time. Since I haven't used an Amiga for internet access for about a
decade, I would say the internet support for the Amiga was at one time
pretty good (even if the browsers weren't as feature rich as the mainstream
browsers) especially considering the Amiga was at that time already a niche
platform.
