Smartbook computers are coming, and predicted to offer serious competition to netbooks in 2010. Since smartbooks use ARM-based CPUs such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon and Nvidia's Tegra, what opportunities does this present for RISCOS ... if any?

Hello, I'm trying to make my old A3000 work again, and having replaced the old CMOS RAM battery (which had corroded slightly onto the motherboard, but I think not enough to have done any damage) and cleaned everything up, it sort of starts up. Trying to track BBC Basic rights holders.

I'm hoping someone out there might be able to help with this. As the title suggests, I'm trying to find the rights holder(s) for the original BBC Basic. I managed to get it to Pace. But after that the trail goes cold. Pace do not seem to know if they have it or not, and don't know if they have sold it.... more »
