Does anybody happen to have a high-resolution version of the icon that is used to represent a Jpeg file (c85), please?
I mean the one that looks like an eye, which is used in OS 4 (maybe also OS 6; can't remember about OS 3), not the altogether different one that came with OS 5.

A7000 problem

My A7000 has become extremely slow and intractable. After
switching on there is a brief appearance of a white-on-black BASIC-
type screen which after a few seconds shows the Acorn logo with the
Initialising..., which lasts for a good minute, followed by the
appearance of the Drive 4 Icon. Clicking on this produces after again... more »

I said I would be back and I am.
Got UniPrint 4 today and have installed it and it printed from the Iyo to the Brother laser without problem first time.
But I also want to print from the Iyo to my Canon inkjet .
The Brother is plugged into the back of my router but the Canon is plugged into a USB port on my Windows 7 PC.... more »

How do restrict a Google Alert to the UK?

I am running a project about HS2, so I have set up Google Alerts to tell me of mentions of "HS2". Every day I get 1 - 8 alerts every day, some irrelevant, but I can sort out those of interest. Very satisfactory.
But now I read a new word.

Was listening to a prog on R4 yesterday about phone apps, and the 'expert'
was asked where the name came from. he said is was a recent invention -
about 5 years ago - and was short for applications. Experts these days...

pickup from Banbury Oxon I am getting rid of the remainder of my Acorn Risc-OS hardware, software & Documentation due to Space problems. I have sold what I can but the rest listed below is still to be disposed of.
