Ooer! Steve, That's a bit cryptic.

I already have an addon that adds a "Menu" item to the ribbon, which when
clicked brings forth a Menu bar, but the old ribbon is still there even
when "Minimize the ribbon" is ticked.
Sure it semi goes away, but it's always there, lurking like some pervert
flasher, just waiting to jump out and expose itself. ;-)
