Magic Mushrooms: how to solve screen 9

Hello.

I have recently put together a simple Web page about the fondly remembered
(by me!) "Magic Mushrooms":

In detailing the routes through each screen, I am alarmed to find that
screen 9 still has the advantage of me after twenty-two years. Clearly it is
necessary to remove the floating once-only near the bottom, so that you can
jump back down from the top; but how can you do this and still leave a path
to the chequered flag, when that path is also made of once-onlies (allowing
only two crossings) and you appear to have to cross it three times?

It's probably something really obvious and I'll feel stupid tomorrow, but
hey.

Oh yes, any further information on this game would be of interest as well.
