I recently decided to take a look at the PRMs to try and get a better understanding of how RISC OS works under the hood but all the links were dead. It would seem that the new owners of ROL have taken huge parts of the site down and that seems to include all of the documentation. Is there anywhere else online where this stuff still exists or do we just have to wait and hope that it comes back?

On a related note, does anyone know whence Acorn's Universal Boot may be
obtained? With absolutely terrible timing, I actually need a clean RISC
OS 3.7 !Boot for the first time ever.

They're on the Raspberry Pi SD card image which you can download, as well as
DDE distributions. I'm making enquiries as to whether they can be
distributed separately.

http://select.riscos.com/prm/ is still there, although this is just the
changes since Select.

You could try http://arcade.demon.co.uk/filepages/file63.htm -
unibootzip is possibly what you're looking for.

Unfortunately a lot of stuff on the old riscos.com website was
something of a shambles and so the site is in the process of being
completely re-designed to make stuff much easier to find.

There was a problem with these links as they seem to point to folders
rather than files and so really need to be accessed as FTP, which
causes problem. However if anyone wants the Uniboot it's there at

Thanks. I see Aaron's cleared this up on TIB as well.

I now have UniBoot. Good job the server wasn't configured to block
hotlinks as well...
