I have an A540 with external SCSI drive, that's not been turned on for
some considerable time.

When I do power it on I can see the internal 100MB drive and access its
files OK, however there's no icon for the external drive.

If I do a command line "*devices" the external SCSI is correctly
identified as device 1, and the capacity, manufacturer etc. are
correctly displayed.

Is there anything else I need to configure to access the external drive?

How many SCSI drives are configured?

IIRC with the Acorn SCSI interface the first SCSI drive (4) must be ID 0 and
the second (5) ID 1 etc or was it ID 4 =4 & 5=5

Cheers Chris "*configure scsifsdiscs 2" and it's sorted, from the alarms
that came up looks like I last had it working last millenium.
