I had so many issues with RO6 on my RPC with Unipod I went back to 4.39
and sold it.

Well to counter that I have absolutely no issue on my Kinetic machine
which has a full functioning Unipod and the latest version of RISC OS
6, though the "noise" you make about your issue could give one the
wrong impression of RISC OS 6 and Unipod.

Using an IYONIX pc and RISC OS 5.14, the thinking person's alternative
operating system to Microsoft Windows.
That sounds very odd. Can you establish where the menu button is active and
where it isn't? For example, by pressing F12 and doing:
*BASIC
10MOUSE ON
20REPEAT
30MOUSE x,y,b
40PRINT x,y,b
50UNTIL 0
Move the pointer around and see which buttons work on which areas of the
screen.
Simtec USB injects events into the pointer queue, which is why it works
irrespective of the configured MouseType. So it's possible something has
changed in the queue format, but I'm surprised it only fails in some areas
of the screen.

Well I have two machines here with RISC OS 6.16 and Unipod - no
problems at all. Plus we have two club machines again no problems.
Biggest thing to remember is to put the necessary USB files etc back
into !boot, then all is well.

Thought... you aren't running in a much bigger video mode than before, are
you? Perhaps with a V-Pod?

Perhaps if decent instructions had been provided all might have been well.
