I recently acquired a Power Tec SCSI card through a certain auction
site, which I was hoping would allow me to ressurrect the hard disk
that remains from my original RiscPC. There is a good chance the
filesystem has been corrupted, but the SCSI card did not come with the
original software and I'm having little luck trying to configure the
disk using just star commands.

Does anyone have any hints on which commands I actually need, or does
anyone have a copy of the desktop software that originally came with
these cards.

Thanks

John

Try visiting the Partis Computing site.

They should be able to supply what you need and also offer support for
Powertec SCSI products.

I've got copies of most SCSI software. If you contact me at the usual APDL
address and let me know what type of SCSI card it is (there were various
PowerTec variants) I'll see what I can do.
