Delving into my back-ups, I have trouble finding the essential 26 bit
killer apps I'm missing.

Is there a list of suggestions anywhere?

I seem to have mislaid my Style somewhere, and can't locate anything else
essential.

Ideas please!

Best wishes,

John

One man's essential is another person's wouldn't touch with a
bargepole.

The only "essential" app for me is Publisher+ which unfortunately
hasn't worked on my Iyonix since moving to RISC OS 5.19

Here are the apps that are in my Aemulor config file:

!64coder !LinkCheck
!Chords !Meteors
!ColourMap !MineHunt
!CrossStar !PDCAT
!D2Font !PReader
!Dilo !PREMIER
!Dis-le !PRInput
!Dis-leII !Publish+
!Drummer !RegGraph
!Dungeon !smbserver
!Dungeon !SuperGram
!EFFCAT !TableMate
!EFFmanual !TemplEd
!effTTT !Trace
!Equasor !TypeFind
!GraphDraw !WordWorks
!ImageFS

You should update your apps. Some of these are not only 32-bit, but
ARM7 as well, eg CrossStar, GraphDraw, MineHunt, TemplEd, Trace.
There is also Attacher, which presumably does the same as 64Coder.

You should also visit the EFF site.
<http://www.eff.co.uk>

I think that you will find 32-bit versions there ;-)).

Need to shake the moths out of your wallet though :-)).

I am not sure I want to disturb the dust on the Aemulor apps.
The only one that gets used from time to time is TableMate.
I used to use Publisher+ but now run this on a RiscPC since it stopped
working under Aemulor on 5.19

This is a an ace 2D parametric design tool. It makes drawings that don't
break into to pieces when you change things.

I have had make a working 32bit version of the !Dis_Le !Dilo
!Gong_che etc years ago.

Also a patched 32bit version of !TableMate which came with Impression.

Would be interesting to see how far the Impression 32bitting has come
on.

Is it using Artworks 32bit 'ABI' module?

I run Publisher+ on Iyonix 5.18 with Aemulor 2.32 quite happily, and
also on an Armini with 5.19 and Aemulor XXX. (And of course on
faithful RiscPC 4.39.) A few peculiar issues, rare enough that I
haven't quite put finger on them. Some could be to do with Aemulor.

The most frequent peculiarity has to do with deep-colour screen modes
rather than Aemulor, I think. ISTR they occur also when using the
RiscPC in deep colour (which I do rarely, because 2M v-ram drops
resolution to 800x600).
I guess the place for me to go into detail would be the Impression
mailinglist that Richard Keefe set up recently to help him in the job
of 32-bitting Impression -- details in Archive 23:6 p12.

XXX = 2.33. Sorry, I meant to check before posting.

Yes, it has to. To be exact, this module is called 'ABI3'. This is a
different module with an updated 32-bit compatible interface that can
co-exist with the previous 26-bit 'ABI' module.

Yes it runs fine on 5.18 but aborts at 2085F400 error number 2 using
5.19
