I am using Netsurf 2.1. Having installed some additional EFF fonts into the
fonts directory of my IYO (R O 5.13) to read some documents developed on
earlier machines I have found Netsurf reporting a serious error. It seems to
be "not finding" fonts on the EFF Typography disc that I have not installed,
with references to the font cache. I have tried to find where Netsurf or
system keeps a fontlist - without success. I have re-installed Netsurf 2.1
from scratch but the error persists. I have tried installing the sought
fonts, but it simply moves on to the next one alphabetically.

I will of course make the appropriate bug report when I can get back on the
web.

Further to this the OS fontlist (and Easiwriter) only contains installed
fonts although I think there was some reference from the EFF loader to the
Netsurf font cache. Further down the bug report there is a reference to a
segmentation error so I suppose the problem could lie elsewhere although
everything else is behaving normally.

Sorry to reply to self once again, but I see from Netsurf web site that
others have had the same problem. I have found a work round - I reinstalled
version 2.0 which rescanned the fonts. Installing 2.1 again did similar and
the erroneous font list - wherever it was was overwritten. Phew!
