I am pleased to announce the availability of a new version of
ArtWorks, the most advanced vector illustration package for RISC OS.

ArtWorks 2.XI - Design with Style!
----------------------------------
ArtWorks 2.XI makes the creation of illustrations with a consistent
design easier than ever by offering a style system: A style is a named
collection of object properties (e.g., fill colour, line width and
line colour). The Style panel shows all defined styles and allows you
to apply them to the selected objects with a single mouse click.

ArtWorks 2.XI is also the first version of ArtWorks that is fully
compatible with the ARMv7 processor architecture used in the very
latest generation of RISC OS computers (BeagleBoard and ARMini).

You can find a list of the new features and a screenshot at
http://www.mw-software.com/software/artworks/aw2features14.html

A full version of ArtWorks 2.XI for new users costs £169. An upgrade
from version 2.X costs £25/EUR 30 (all prices include VAT). You can
find other upgrade prices and payment options at:

AWViewer 2.15 available (for BeagleBoard users)
-----------------------------------------------
To celebrate the release of the first ARMv7 compatible version of
ArtWorks, there is a new fully ARMv7 compatible version of AWViewer,
the free ArtWorks viewer. This utility displays ArtWorks files and
allows third party applications (e.g., Impression, OvationPro and
EasiWriter) to display ArtWorks files embedded in their documents.

You can download AWViewer 2.15 from
http://www.mw-software.com/software/awmodules/awrender.html

This new release (which comes pre-installed on the ARMini) works on
all RISC OS platforms, but offers no benefit over version 2.14b except
for its ARMv7 compatibility. If you already have version 2.14b on a
traditional RISC OS machine (RiscPC, Iyonix, a9Home, VRPC), then you
are advised to continue using that version for the time being.
