MEETING on Wednesday 7th May 2008

Steve Fryatt and !Cashbook
--------------------------

Steve Fryatt will be demonstarting his Cashbook program, which he has
developed as a replacement for the no longer developed Personal
Accounts package. It has facilities for importing Persoanl Account
files, amongst many other features.

CashBook is a home accounts manager, which can be used to keep track
of home or club accounts. The system is based around transactions,
which correspond to those on bank, building society and credit card
statements. These transactions transfer money between accounts, or to
and from analysis headings.

Transactions into and out of accounts can be reconciled against
statements, making it quick and easy to spot discrepancies and errors.
A real-time statement view is available for all accounts and analysis
headings. These update as the entries in the transaction window
change, making it easy to track money through an individual account.

The doors will open at 7.15pm with the actual meeting starting at 7:45
pm prompt till finish.

So, pencil in this event - remember, it's Wednesday, 7th May 2008
