Subject: New mailing list for RISC OS users in the Bristol area

Newsgroups: comp.sys.acorn.announce
Followup-To: comp.sys.acorn.misc
From: "Trevor Johnson"

Two RISC OS enthusiasts in Bristol are investigating scope for starting a
new Bristol RISC OS user group. The previous group closed down in 2006 but
the shared source initiative of RISC OS Open Ltd may be generating a need
once more.

Vince Hudd and Trevor Johnson have agreed to try to gauge interest, with a
view to developing longer term plans to serve the wider Bristol area.

The first stage is the setting up of a mailing list for RISC OS users in
Bristol and the surrounding area. This is now done and you can join here:
http://riscository.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/bru-list_riscository.co.uk

Further information about the plan and the simplest instructions for
subscribing are described in the latest post (dated January 27th, 2010) on:
http://www.riscository.com

Thanks for reading, and we look forward to seeing you on the list for
further discussions!

Regards

Trevor Johnson and Vince Hudd
