Vince M Hudd is pleased to announce that he has now created an
unofficial mailing list for VirtualAcorn users. This list is for the
discussion of any issues, problems, hints and tips - or anything else
relating to the use of VirtualAcorn's products, the emulated
environment and the software running within that environment.

The mailing list is intended to be supplemental to the primary support
forum, which can be found at:

http://www.virtualacorn.co.uk/forum/

and the VirtualAcorn support pages, which can be found at:

http://www.virtualacorn.co.uk/support.htm

The list page can be found at:

http://riscository.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/virtualacorn-list_riscository.co.uk

Subscribing can be through that page, allowing you to choose your own
password, or you can subscribe by sending an email, with the word
subscribe in the subject line, to:

virtualacorn...@riscository.co.uk

If you choose the latter method, a password will be generated for you.

In both cases, you will receive an email containing a link to click in
order to confirm your subscription request. You will then receive a
further email containing your password and some basic instructions for
maintaining/modifying your subscription.

Once subscribed, messages can be sent to the list from the address you
used to subscribe by sending them to:

virtuala...@riscository.co.uk

Speaking from his top secret underground base, straddling the
Swiss/French borders somewhere near Geneva, where his nefarious plans
for world domination are slowly being realised with hugely dangerous
experiments and other general naughtiness, Vince M Hudd had this to
say: 'No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die...'

Taking a break from his punishing schedule (administered by Miss
Cruella Thong), Aaron Timbrell went on to add 'Ouch'. He then went on
to say 'VirtualAcorn are pleased that an independent mailing list has
been set up to cover our range of products and look forward to
supporting it.'

About VirtualAcorn
------------------

Virtual Acorn allows you to run the Acorn operating system RISC OS on
a Windows PC with Windows 2000, XP or Vista, and on a fast G4, G5 or
Intel Mac with Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Any RISC OS programs can then
be run on the PC. VirtualAcorn can operate inside a window, just like
any other Windows application, but can also run full screen. In full
screen mode the PC looks and feels just like an Acorn computer.
VirtualAcorn requires no extra hardware to be fitted in your PC and
can be installed in minutes. For more details, please visit the
website at http://www.virtualacorn.co.uk

About Riscository.co.uk
