R-Comp is pleased to announce that we'll be demonstrating an updated
version of our DP Genealogy Records software at the Wakefield show.
This new version (1.50) will be a free update to existing customers
(so many free upgrades recently - it must be Christmas!).

The new features present in Genealogy Records 1.50 relate to finding
genealogy information on the internet and importing it for study /
analysis. The software is aware of various websites and the data
formats that they report in, so that you can easily import the results
of your genealogy web searches into the software (much as you can do
already with Gedcom files).

These results can then be analysed within the software, and links
formed between family members and so on.

Genealogy Records is a program for storing your Genealogy research,
and keeping track of your family history. It allows you to input all
your findings, documents, census fact/figures, birth, marriage, death
and other records, then link them together to help build your past.

Unlike family tree programs which tend to focus on the "end result"
(the tree), Genealogy Records focuses on the research element which is
what most people find to be most time consuming. By bringing all your
information into one place, you can search, filter and study your
family records within the software.

The author will be demonstrating it at the show. More info can be
found at http://www.rcomp.co.uk/

Best wishes,

Andrew
