Murnong, the application for fetching videos from YouTube, has been
updated to version 1.50 in response to YouTube's enhancements to its
media organisation and delivery system. (These enhancements stopped
Murnong 1.41 from working.)

Download !Murnong from
<http://www.users.on.net/~belles/software/murnong/>.

FFmpeg, the application for converting media formats, has been updated
to version 1.10 based on revision 24822 of the source library. This
release supports additional codecs, such as AAC+ and Indeo 5, and for
the first time on RISC OS provides limited support for saving and
viewing media streamed over a network.

Download !FFmpeg from
<http://www.users.on.net/~belles/software/ffmpeg/>.

Note that Murnong downloads YouTube movies and FFmpeg converts them.
Murnong can no longer perform the conversion itself. Previous versions
of Murnong included two obsolete, cut-down builds of an ffmpeg program.
These have now been removed, having been superceded by the !FFmpeg
application. So if your intention in downloading YouTube movies via
Murnong is to view them on a RISC OS system, then you will also need
FFmpeg to convert the FLV movies into MPEG for KinoAmp to play.

I intend to look into porting FFplay to RISC OS, which would provide a
low-performance means of previewing media files without the need to
first convert them to an MPEG format. But don't hold your breath...
