I am pleased to announce that version 1.20 of Snapper is now
available.
Snapper is a versatile screen capture program. It allows you to save
a specified area of the screen. The modes of operation of Snapper are
1. Save the entire screen area
2. Save the complete window under the mouse pointer
3. Save the _contents_ of the window under the mouse,
without any of the window furniture
4. Save the area inside a user definable box, the size and position of
which can be adjusted
Snapper was originally written by David Pilling, and supplied as a
component of his scanning and image processing software suite. With
the full agreement and cooperation of David, Chris Johnson has taken
on the maintenance and development of Snapper, and the latest version
is now freely available to all. Any correspondence about Snapper now
should be directed to Chris Johnson.
The main changes in this release are
+ Can now save sprite in a drawfile wrapper
+ Can now save in PNG format
+ Can now save in JPEG format
+ Option to use desktop font to label snap area top bar
