Subject: Webgen2 and CSS at London RO user group, Monday 21st July 2008
The next meeting of the RISC OS user group of London will be:

WebGen2 update and CSS demo and discussion
     presented by Dave Stratford

   Monday 21st July 2008, 7:45pm
(informal discussions from about 6pm onwards)

   The Blue-Eyed Maid (upstairs)
   173 Borough High Street
   London
   SE1 1HR

Dave Stratford is the author of WebGen2 the picture indexing and automated
web gallery generator.  He will be demonstrating the latest version as
well as talking about and demonstrating CSS.

Dave is planning to use his A9home to run the demonstration, which may
also allow us to go through the complete process of taking digital photos
during the meeting, turning them into a web page gallery with WebGen2, and
uploading it to the ROUGOL website.

Come along and join in the fun, it should be a very interesting evening.

The meeting should benefit from video projection with ROUGOL's video
projector, so everyone should have a great view.  We may also be using our
audio amplification equipment if necessary.

A wide range of hot and cold food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
(quite expensive), will be on sale.  Admittance is free and everyone is
welcome.

Anyone with wireless enabled handhelds or laptops should be able to access
the internet during the meeting, or (if time allows) use ROUGOL's own Risc
PC to do so after the main presentation has finished.  Please speak to
Bryan Hogan if you have problems connecting.

The whole of the venue is now entirely a non-smoking area.  There is
shelter, and sometimes heating, for smokers outside.

The venue is between London Bridge and Borough tube stations, so readily
accessible by public transport (both stations are a five minute walk away,
through well lit and CCTV'd main streets).  It also has ample cycle
parking (covered by CCTV) very close by.

If you are arriving by car, the Congestion Charge ends at 6pm and our
meeting starts much later.  However, please note that parking on double
red lines is restricted at all times.  On single red or yellow lines, it
is best to park after 7pm.  If you aren't completely familiar with
*central* London parking or driving, please allow extra time, patience,
and maps.

If you need any help getting to the venue, please contact us.
