MusicMan 2.15 and Messenger Pro 7.05 at SW Show this weekend

We are pleased to announce that two of our popular applications are
receiving significant updates this weekend at the SouthWest Show.
We previously announce that MusicMan 2 had gained the ability to add
album cover artwork to the music files it creates, but this has been
extended further in two important ways. Firstly it has been extended
to multiple different formats of music, and secondly internet lookup
features have been added to aid the quest for artwork and even
research of music!
The standard freedb internet service doesn't include album cover
artwork, so we had to think laterally - the new release of MusicMan 2
can now search online services for suitable images. The software can
also look up individual tracks online (either as an ordinary search,
perhaps for lyrics, or seeking images). This allows you to add
appropriate artwork even when a CD is a compilation of tracks by
different artists/composers. You can even research artists/composers
online, to expand your musical horizons!
Moving onto Messenger Pro 7.05, this free update adds several features
requested by users, but most importantly includes the promised
built-in POP/SMTP facilities, making Messenger Pro 7 a complete email
solution "out of the box". This feature was originally planned for
7.00, but was delayed due to somewhat convoluted "real life" issues,
rather than technical ones. Put simply, it wasn't possible to
allocate the necessary testing time that we wanted for such a major
feature. Naturally this will be a free update for all existing MP7
owners.
Existing owners of MusicMan 2 and Messenger Pro 7 should expect
updates after the show, probably towards the end of next week. This
ensures that we are able to give full support/service when we issue
the updates, rather than dashing off to the Show!
If you would like new CDs of either product, they will be available at
the show.
