R-Comp Interactive is pleased to announce that a free ARMini update
has been released unlocking the full 1Ghz (1000Mhz) potential of the
ARMini CPU.

Offering up to 25% better performance (on what is already by far the
fastest available ARM-based RISC OS computer), this update marks an
important milestone in ARMini development - it's first birthday! And
how many birthday boys *give* gifts on their special day, rather than
receiving?!

The extra performance allows for smoother operation in your favourite
applications as well as allowing for smoother video and audio
processing (latest advances finally allow RISC OS users to handle
modern, high definition video, but you'll want at least an ARMini
level of performance for that).

Not only does this latest update provide extra general performance,
but bootup has been pepped up too - up to 20 seconds has been shaved
off startup times.

If you haven't already joined us on the ARMini adventure, now is also
a great time to buy, thanks to various first-birthday deals that we'll
have for the show.

You'll be able to choose a free upgrade - either a free internal
CD/DVD drive with your computer (making it a complete desktop
computer) or a free upgrade to the "turbo 16Gb" storage drive. We'll
have computers for you to take away with you at the Wakefield show
this weekend.

The ARMini is the premier pure-ARM RISC OS computer offering 1000Mhz
(1Ghz) CPU performance with a highly-efficient, dual-issue Cortex A8
cpu architecture, backed up by 512Mb of high performance RAM. It runs
RISC OS 5, with licences from Castle and RISC OS Ltd.

Best wishes,
