Flicker IV: Presentation & Animation software for RISC OS

"Flicker IV" will be released at the Wakefield show this weekend.
Flicker is "Presentation & Animation software for RISC OS".
It can be used like 'Powerpoint' on a Microsoft system, or
'Keynote' on the Mac. At the show, visitors will be able to
test-drive the package using sample presentations.
They will also be able to watch Flicker smoothly running the new
animation "Yin and Yang". This contains 1540 frames, each 300 by
300 pixels and runs on a Risc PC at a most respectable
rate of 51 frames per second. This is 'perfect picture' animation
with no loss of picture quality. Several such animations can be
run on the desktop at the same time with only a small loss in
the frame rate of each.
The new software is a major update of MathMagical's most popular
program. Exactly 200 CDs of the previous version of Flicker were
made, many given away free to those attending MathMagical
theatre talks in 2009. Many comments and suggestions for
improvements were received. The vast majority of which have been
implemented for this new release.
The new software will be on sale for £15 at the show, or shortly
afterwards from the MathMagical website.
