I've just released the very first version of Hedwig.
Hedwig is a program designed to make it easier to use your
computer. Those that are familiar with Quicksilver for the Mac, or
Launchy or Colibri for Windows, this is something like that for
RISC OS.
It enables you to do a lot of things with the keyboard. For
example, it is very easy to start a program, google for something,
start writing a mail.
If you for example would like to start the Draw application, you
simply press <Ctrl-Space> and you type 'draw', and press
<Enter>. You probably do not even need to type 'draw'
completely!
To Google for something, you just press <Ctrl-Space> and you type
'google', <Tab> and type your search criteria just as you would in
the Google website, and you press <Enter>.
To mail someone, you press <Ctrl-Space>, start typing the name of
the person you want to mail. As soon as the full name of the person
you want to mail appears, you press <Tab>, you type the subject for
your mail and you press <Enter>.
