RISCOS Ltd and APDL today announced the merger of Foundation
RISC User magazine (published by RISCOS Ltd) and RISCWorld
(published by APDL).

The new magazine will be known as Foundation RISCWorld and
will be edited by Aaron Timbrell, the current editor of RISCWorld.

Foundation RISCWorld will combine the best features of the two
magazines and will be published bi-monthly on CD.

RISCOS Ltd's Paul Middleton said of the merger:

"The RISC OS market has continued to evolve over the past ten
years since the demise of Acorn, and the merger of the two
magazines is the next logical step to maximise the resources
available to continue to provide the best support for RISC OS
users."

APDL's Dave Holden went on to add:

"Combining the two CD RISC OS magazines will increase our
resources and enable us to make the new magazine
even bigger and better for the benefit of all the subscribers."
