For those not aware of SyncDiscs, SyncDiscs is an application to make
the contents of two discs or directories the same. For example, it
may be used for keeping general backups on the same or different
media or machines, to keep an exact copy of a hard disc on a
removable disc, or for synchronising a portable computers disc with
that on a main machine.
SyncDiscs was originally written by David Pilling. With the full
agreement and encouragement of David, Chris Johnson has taken on the
maintenance and development of SyncDiscs.
The changes in this update are small.
* Status field in progress window showed garbage when a zip file was
being ignored. Fixed
* Objects that will be ignored during a 'Sync' are now listed in the
'Compare' output listing
* When checking for open files - now checks whether file is open for
read only, or write as well. If open for read only, then file can be
copied
The new version can be obtained from:

I should emphasise that any comments about, or problems with, this
new version should be addressed to myself and *not* to David Pilling.
