The Reporter application enables the easy display of text and variable
values in a debugging window from Wimp programs (especially BASIC), Obey
files, Assembler programs, and much more.
The last major release of Reporter was over a year ago, but development
has not stopped. Indeed, one reason why this release has been delayed
many times is the continual refinement and development, resulting in a
'not quite fit for release' syndrome!
However, Reporter v2.67 is now available, and the main changes since
v2.66 are:
General changes...
- *ReportHeap now caters for RISC OS v5.18 changes, and can give error.
- *ReportDump can now be in Words (i.e. reversed).
- Reporter *commands are no longer Reported.
- Now works fully on BeagleBoard with alignment exceptions on.
- Should work without problems on Raspberry Pi.
- Many minor fixes and improvements to program and documentation.
Changes for Assembler programming, especially from Basic...
- SWI Report_Registers and FNReport now support printf-style output.
- FNReport has major changes to remove code expansion, while reducing
added debug code and removing limits. It now supports condition
codes.
- For example: FNReport("<ne>\t Loaded %1i from %0x %5s",0)
If NotEqual flags could report
'13:08:10.75 Loaded r1=-12345 from r0=&CDE0 r5="string"'
- FNReportOn and FNReportOff added to enable easier control.
- PROCReportPatch added to enable easy patching of existing code.
... and there may be some new bugs!

and it can be downloaded from there as a zip archive file.
Development will continue, so please let me know of any suggestions for
changes!
