New versions of some of the late Ray Favre's applications are now
downloadable from his website,
http://rayfavre.me.uk = www.rayfavre.me.uk
(The "www." prefix has been made optional. Save a mouthful.)

Labella: bug-fixes, small updates to manuals (OPro page
numbers now correct), new envelope sizes (Christmas cards).
== Labella is for printing labels and envelopes.

Calibre and Meddle: small changes.
== Calibre is for designing a wide range of calendars.
== Meddle turns Ovation Pro's DDL files into HTML.

All three now compatible with new Arm hardware such as
Armini and Beagleboard and Fat32-type filing systems.

An updated version of Dr Wimp itself, the Basic-authoring app used to
help write these and other applications, is to be uploaded in the next
few days after sorting out one question.

Thanks to Steve Fryatt, Chris Johnson, Martin Avison and others, and
to Chris Newman for the envelopes.

See note on site about availability of source code -- and concomitant
request that anyone interested in contributing future updates should
contact the Archive editor first, in order to coordinate with anyone
else who might already be at work on it.

The tribute to Ray Favre published in Archive when he died in May 2010
is also on his site now. He was one of the magazine's most prolific
contributors over the years and left a note with his will asking that
Archive ensure that his software and books remain available.
