Version 1.72 of PlayIt

PlayIt version 1.72 is available for download from
<http://www.users.on.net/~belles/software/playit/>.

This release has much improved reliability, especially on 26-bit
platforms, through the correction of several interrupt-handling bugs.
All users should upgrade to this version.

PlayIt is a disc-based engine for playing sound samples. It is used as
a resource by several audio players including DigitalCD. It was
originally written by Rick Hudson. Thanks to Rick and Andrew Rawnsley
for making the sources available. Thanks also to Willi Theiss and
Jeffrey Lee for their contributions.

Please note: Do not attempt to contact Rick Hudson and bother him with
questions about PlayIt; he left the RISC OS scene many years ago.
