Hi guys,
I'm sure a few of you will remember my other thread about bringing a 3B1 back to life ("3B1 Parts Needed"). Well, that 3B1 is working -- I've replaced:

Hi there,
A few of you might be aware of the 3B1 emulator I released a while back. A small fraction of you might also be aware of the issues I've had (namely, it boots Diagnostics but booting the kernel throws up a ton of "out of space" errors during the software install).

Anyone willing to compile gawk for me?

Hi. I spent many happy hours hacking on gawk (GNU Awk) on my 3B1, lo these
many years ago, and still have very fond memories of the system.
Just for nostalgia's sake, would anyone with a running system be
willing to (try to) compile gawk for me on it? It would probably
be best to use the current released version (4.0.2) from ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gawk.... more »

Ethernet on a 3B1

We often see laments about the lack of networking on the 3B1. Has anyone
(other than me) seen the WIZ110SR? It is an RS232 to Ethernet adapter
which, aparently has TCPIP built into the adapter. Could prove both
interesting and useful especially if one wrote a driver to to PPoE thru

Need Help ! 3B1 turn on but just show cursor at top-lefthand corner..

I just own a 3B1 but new to 3B1 and I think it is a wonderful machine but when it is turned on it just show a cursor at the top lefthand corner (no flashing) and nothing else. No noise from HDD. When I put diagnostic disk in, it did boot and show the menu, when I run HDD test, it just displayed "Recal Disk" and just stuck.... more »
