Usenet Abuse: Someone at IP address 113.191.147.122 is impersonating me and posting nonsense
...I am asking a serious question. When will those posts go away?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It's annoying me as they are hindering my ability to see my REAL posts. I feel like infecting hip-crime with trojan horse that will steal all their info -- including credit card numbers -- and give it to the rest of the world. I want to burn hip-crime with oxyacetylene flames and... more »

calculating serialization delay for 802.16-2004
Hi everybody, Does anybody know how to calculate the serialization delay in 802.16-2004 WiMAX networks? It is clear for me to calculate this e.g. for DSL or TDM circuits - where the speed for emtying the interface output queue is equal to the clock of the connection. In wireless multicarrier enviroment (like WiMAX 256FFT OFDM) if there is... more »

dear comp.std.wireless readers
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 It's getting a bit tiresome seeing one misguided American after another with their cutsie little yellow or red-white-blue ribbons on their outsized SUVs. Yeah, I guess it's the thing to do; maybe part of that whole soccer-mom culture. Unfortunately, the only thing they demonstrate is that the person... more »

timing numbers for 802.11p
Does anybody know the length of a time slot in 802.11p (WiFi for vehicular communiction)? I know that for 802.11b it's 20 microseconds, but don't know about 802.11p. What about the length of DIFS and preamble? Thanks in advance, Bo

Standards covering 'access classes and subscriber categories'??
Does anybody have an idea about, which part of 3GPP specification covers about the access classes(0-9 standard ones and also 10-15 special ones) and the subscriber categories that are covered under these classes?

How do I separate the convulutional encoder/Viterbi decoder from a WLAN phy?
Basically I have the source codes of the entire Phy, but I need to isolate the convolution in such a way that one can simulate without the convolution and viterbi decoder.
