Dear Colleagues,

You are cordially invited to submit a paper to the 9th Applications and Principles of Information Science (The 9th APIS) conference, to be held in La Rochelle, France on 4-5 February 2010. Note that the authors of the qualified papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers to the International Journal of Principles and Applications in Information Science and Technology (PAIST).

The International Conference on Applications and Principles of Information Science (APIS) provides an advanced forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to present and discuss their latest research findings on a broad array of topics in information science. The conference offers original papers dealing with latest issues on information science. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

Prospective authors should submit full papers in English, of 2~4 pages in the specified format. Accepted forms for submission are soft copy in MS Word, PDF, or PS file formats. Authors should submit paper electronically only using the online submission interface available at http://www.apis.org/.

* Notification of acceptance 15 November, 2009
* Camera-ready paper due 1 December, 2009
* Conference planning date on 4 - 5 February, 2010
