Knowledge transfer and Agile development

Thank u all for your valuable suggestions.. moving ahead to find my
research goal .i need some further suggestions ...hope you will help
me...
one of the principal of agile software development is
Self organising teams..
Here I have 2 different choices where I can proceed

1. to Compare and contrast Distributed and co-located agile teams
for team Cohesiveness from 3 prospective
* Communication
* Culture
* Co-ordination
2. To compare n contrast Knowledge transfer/Information sharing in
distributed and co-located agile teams . comparing both (Explicit and
Implicit )knowledge transfer.

plz tell me which way to follow , and also how the conduct research
(tentative research plan) so That i can meet the objective.
