Description:
SCM Analyst: This is a Permanent position in Los Angeles, CA.
The Software Configuration Management Programmer has a strong
technical and analytical background, is organized, methodical and
responsive to the needs of Application Development teams.
Skills and Qualifications required for the Job:
• Work with cross-functional teams (PM, Dev, QA, Doc, TS) to develop
and improve configuration management and build processes, policies and
procedures.
• Develop and maintain automated build and configuration management
tools for all SJM application products.
• Administer source repositories including administration, branch
management and merging.
• Integrate build process and tools with defect tracking, automated
test harnesses and static analysis and reporting tools.
• Operating the build system including launching daily builds,
tracking changes; build reporting, and archiving of builds.
• Develop and maintain integrated installers/packaging for all SJM
products.
• Administration of the build management system.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
with ease.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Innovative, analytical approach to solving complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Configuration Management and Build/Release.
• Management principles and methodologies.
• Experience in the administration of Subversion repositories.
• Java, .NET, C, C++ and Object-oriented design and development
concepts.
• Working knowledge of ClearCase and ClearQuest.
• Adept at Shell/Batch scripting.
• Experience developing integrated installers using SDKs such as
Install Shield, WISE or MSI.
