Like many other Universities, it looks like UC Berkeley will no
longer have a Usenet machine. Thus, the feed from the
ptolemy-hackers mailing list to comp.soft-sys.ptolemy will break.
I believe that this will happen around 12/31/2008. See

The best way to communicate with the Ptolemy community is via the
Ptolemy-Hackers mailing list, see
http://ptolemy.eecs.berkeley.edu/mailinglists.htm
Once the UC Berkeley Usenet machine goes away, I'll no longer have
an easy way to read this newsgroup, so requests for help will not
be seen by me.
