I live in *RURAL* southwest Missouri. Would you really want to
download 80MB over dialup? A high speed internet connection would
effectively cost me $60-100 due to undesired services(sic) that
come bundled with it.
Does anyone distribute a Windows version on CD?
I suppose an hour's download (or more) is a bit steep.
No local cyber cafes, public libraries, or friends with broadband?
*ROFL* When I attempted it, the predicted time was ~4.5 hours ;<

Locally we seemed to have skipped "cyber cafe" and gone directly
to wifi proliferation, and me w/o a laptop. [They are even
experimenting with providing wifi on several city buses.] Local
library has computers with *printers*. I will have to check the
newest branch.
I'm just out of date. Library now has USB ports on all machines,
but newer machines no longer have CD write capability.

Same problem in rural Maine. wget will let you download reliably, in
multiple interrupted sessions if necessary, but I think one overnight
session should do the trick. Use the -c option and restart if
necessary until you get a message that the download is completed.
I turned out that the public library had more useful connectivity
than I thought. I'm glad that I also downloaded Scioslab 4.3 -
it's functional.
