I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. When I run scicos in Scilab 5.1,
it only renders the upper left corner of all scicos diagrams. Oddly
enough, I don't have this issue on my much older Toshiba Satellite A75-
S231. However, on that machine, anytime I try to open a new palette
window, the entire application crashes. This does not happen on the
Dell. Of course, it means that I can't run scicos on either machine...

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Roy

Scicos does NOT work under any scilab 5.x version. Scilab and Scicos
are two different softwares now. (Don´t ask why Scicos 4.2 is
implemented in scilab 5.1 -> I have absolutely no idea). Scicos (4.3)
has now its own scilab enviroment called scicoslab. Please visit
scicoslab.org to download it.
