SCILAB 2.4 -- NEW RELEASE

There were two major bugs in Scilab-2.4 making in particular Scicos and
the addmenu functions inoperable on some platforms. For this reason, new
binary versions have been made and placed on our ftp site and the source
version has been updated. This new release is still called 2.4 which is
probably not a good idea. But...

In any case, if you are having problems with Scicos or the addmenu function,
you should ftp Scilab again from our site.

With many excuses, for any incovenience, from the Scilab group.

PS Please continue sending us bug reports (and suggestions). The 2.4 was
a major release and it certainly contains bugs. We are planning a
release (2.4.1) for september. This version will be distributed
on CD with the Scilab book (and of course freely distributed by ftp as
usual). Thanks.
